WHAT TO BRING
Comfortable dance shoes
Dance sneakers are required. If you have none, you may wear socks for Day 1.
Water bottle
Stay hydrated!
Small towel

Have a small towel and/or extra shirt especially if you tend to sweat easily.
WHAT TO WEAR
Comfortable, breathable clothing
T-shirts are very welcome! They’re comfy, allow for easy movement, and help you stay cool.
Athletic wear
Dancing is a form of exercise, so clothes you’d wear to a workout are perfect, too!
Avoid anything too loose or long on the bottom

Stylish outfit is perfectly fine as long as your dress, pants or skirt doesn't cover your feet or drag on the floor.
DANCE SHOES
If you're asking whether you need dance shoes or not, the answer is yes! You need them Not only do they protect your knees, joints, and body (no tears in your meniscus please!), you will spin, turn, and dance easier and better!
Sliding and gliding will make you a better partner, too.

WHAT TO EXPECT ON DAY 1

We start on time, so you don’t want to miss the warm-up or the first steps! Please arrive 10–15 minutes early to check in, meet your classmates, and get settled.

Metered street parking is available. It's free after 6pm and all day on Sundays.

You don’t need to bring a partner. We rotate partners during class so you’ll get to dance with a variety of people.
