Join our Salsa 1+ with Styling program to learn quickly and easily in a fun and safe space!
Whether you're a beginner or more experienced dancer, our structured and progressive program will challenge you with styling and technique from the very beginning. You'll learn to dance smoothly through transitions with a partner, and in "shine sequences" (cardio intensive footwork that's an integral part of salsa to "shine on the floor"). Then, you'll put the pieces together to speed.
Perfect for first-time salsa dancers who want to become good dancers quickly, and intermediate to advanced dancers looking to improve their footwork, partnership/connection technique, and body action in the fundamentals. You will learn how to move with the correct body mechanics so you feel a true sense of partnership and connection, and look like a natural dancer born with rhythm.

Our practice sessions are relaxed, open-floor opportunities to reinforce what you’ve learned in class. They’re not formal classes (no new material is taught), but they’re a great way to get extra reps, improve faster, and feel more comfortable dancing outside of class.

With over 15 years of certified teaching and professional competition experience, Alexis Massey is well known for being one of the best Latin dance instructors in Los Angeles.
Alexis is the 2020 North American Same-Sex Latin Champion, an American Rhythm titleholder, and an American Smooth Champion. Her expertise is backed by certifications in over 30 styles of dance and movement.
