We’ve arranged a spacious Airbnb offsite so we have a more comfortable and community-oriented place to stay. It gives us a cozy, shared atmosphere. To get to and from the workshop venue at the DoubleTree Hotel, we typically use Uber or Lyft. It’s about a 10-minute ride and cost around $8–$10 last year. We take turns booking the rides and often carpool together. You're also welcome to drive yourself if you prefer. If so, there’s a large parking lot available at the venue. 😊

Yes! The shared room is set up in a bunk bed style (check out the photos for a better idea). Each person will have their own separate bed—you’re sharing the room, not the bed. The cost is $250 per person for a bunk-bed space.

Food at the house is included in the cost. Alexis will be doing a Costco run to stock up on breakfast and snack essentials, things like eggs, cut fruit, sourdough bread, coffee, creamer, tortillas, salsa, chicken sausage, and afternoon snacks like veggies, pita, hummus, chips and salsa. We’ll also have a couple of frozen pizzas (veggie and others) on hand for anyone who gets hungry late at night, especially after dancing! There are also food options at the hotel restaurant and near our Airbnb, so you’ll have plenty of choices if you’d like to eat out or grab something extra.

Technically, pets aren’t allowed. We love our furry friends, but to respect the space (and avoid any issues with the host), we’ll need to keep it pet-free for this trip.
